16th International Symposium on Variants in the Genome

Join Us in Leuven for ISV2026!

https://www.isv.hugo-int.org/

The 16th International Symposium on Variants in the Genome (ISV2026) will be held from 20–23 May 2026 in Leuven, Belgium, a historic and vibrant city known for its innovation, culture, and warm hospitality. This leading international meeting will bring together researchers, clinicians, bioinformaticians, and industry professionals who are advancing the science and practice of variant interpretation and genomic medicine.

ISV2026 will feature a rich scientific program showcasing the latest developments in sequencing technologies, variant science and clinical application. With many distinguished invited speakers already confirmed—and more to be announced soon—the symposium promises to deliver cutting-edge insights and stimulating discussions across a wide range of topics.

We are now calling for abstracts for both oral and poster presentations. This is a great opportunity to share your research, gain feedback, and connect with colleagues from around the world. Whether you’re an emerging scientist or an established leader in the field, your contribution will help shape the conversations driving genomic discovery forward.

ISV2026 is more than a series of talks — it’s an experience designed to spark collaboration, inspire new ideas, and strengthen our community. We create multiple opportunities for meaningful networking through dedicated social events, discussion forums, and informal meetups. Whether you're a seasoned researcher or new to the field, ISV2026 offers the chance to connect, share, and build lasting professional relationships.

Take advantage of our Super Early Bird registration, available to the first 20 participants who register and pay before 31 December 2025—a perfect reason to secure your place early!

Join us in Leuven for four inspiring days of science, networking, and collaboration. Visit the ISV2026 website for abstract submission details, registration, speaker updates, and all the latest news.

We look forward to meeting you in Leuven!
